8. My favorite subject in this semester

My favorite subject in this semester

The class that I liked most is "Cultural Geography", in this we see in a critical and analytical way the various attitudes that society has in our world, and how this can be analyzed from a spatial and temporal perspective.

Maybe this sounds confusing, but I will tell you the main content that we have seen to give an idea of what it´s. Imagine an environmental or social problem, see who are the agents that are part of it: citizens, the state, private, etc., now think about what each agent would say about this problem, will they all think the same or will there be differences of opinions ? Surely they will have differences, and what this matter does is look for why they think differently: It´s because everyone has different ways of living? It´s because of the experiences they have had? It´s because they live in different places?, etc.

Questions like these we ask ourselves in class and it´s what I like the most because we can talk about problems in our environment that are so different, such as the water crisis, economic inequalities, the mining impact and more, according to different points of view among people.

Analyzing this image was an exercise in class, of which many classmates had different ideas of it.

"Interpretations have been given since the conquest, modernity and more. There is not a single truth, it is only the recognition of the different perspectives before the same object, according to its positionality, psychological condition and more"
