My computer allows me to do all things, it has various processors that help me work, organize, and entertain myself. It´s my means of communicating with my environment (especially in these times of pandemic), so it helps me a lot, and without it, I would not be able to be in class, talk with friends, play, and well, do everything.
Before, I did not occupy the computer much, but due to the pandemic and the various tasks that I have to do in the University, I have started to occupy it more. I recently used a computer that was given to me in seventh grade, but it wasn't that up-to-date.
In March, they bought me my current computer, it was a huge investment, but worthwhile, and necessary. Since I have it, I have been able to occupy it in various ways, in the morning I join classes, then I organize my schedule to do homework. In my spare time, I watch movies, anime or series on Netflix, talk to friends and classmates on Discord, listen to music on Spotify, and more. Basically, this technology object allows me to access many applications at the same time and that is very efficient.
With so many things that I do and the various functions that it has, I currently occupy it all day, trying to have free time from the computer to rest, which is a bit difficult, but not impossible.
As mentioned in the last blog, I study geography and this is my second year.
Since I was a little girl I wanted study something related to The Earth and exploration, greatly influenced by movies and animated cartoons like "Dora, la exploradora". When I was 10 years old I wanted to be an Archaeologist, discover thing, travel around the world and be a little "Indiana Jones" in it.
Years later, I can take my aspirations to something more specific, but with the same initial idea. I started search investigation´s careers. One day, my family suggested me that I study Geology, I really liked it, had a lot of mathematics, and the study of minerals was what attracted me the most. At the same time, I was considering the Theater, because since I was little I participated in Theater´s activities, I went to cultural festivals and from time to time I would perform, and it made me very happy.
In my last year of school, I discovered the existence of Geography, that mixed the physical and the social, two things that I like too much. I found it a very complete and interesting career, It met my expectations, and I applied for it, proposing to study it and at the same time carry out theatrical activities / workshops so as not to leave aside the cultural things that I also like.
Now that I´m studying it, I can say that my expectations' haven´t been lost, it is fulfilling what I wanted to study, I really like its content and disciplines. The only thing missing is the face-to-face activities, the land, meeting my colleagues and living the race as it should.

Hi, I´m Renata. I was born in Santiago, Chile. I am 18 years old and in June I will be 19.
I started studying geography last year. The expectations that I had about my first year at university were totally different from what it really was -and still is- but even then I met classmates very friendly.
About my family I can tell you that I live alone with my mom and my dog what is called "Toki". Before we lived with my cousins and my aunt who live near us. My aunt is 37 years old, 10 years younger than my mother. Something similar happens to me with my little cousin. She is 5 years old, and she likes paint and dance a lot. On the other hand, my cousin is 15 years old, and he likes to watch series and listen to music.
In my free time I participate in a foundation called "Tremendas", therein I'm doing projects and activities of social impact with others young women. Also, I usually make clay figures, paint, edit videos, watch series and anime, and finally, read Harry Potter -although I'm just starting hahaha-.
I present my dog, Toki:
"How safe is to give your personal information on websites such as Facebook, my space and any others? What’s the limit for you?"
